Trailing 30 - Flag Day

Here is an explanation of this weekly feature, listing the best and worst of past 30 days, made possible by FanGraph's Leaders application. Comment for the week: I've mentioned this before, but we're hearing a lot this year that the National League appears to have three potentially dominant teams (Nationals, Dodgers, Cardinals) and several pretty good ones (Mets, Pirates, Cubs, Giants), while the American League has no teams that seem very good. For years, the American League has dominated the National League in interleague play. This year, though, with all the good teams in the NL and the AL looking like dogmeat, well...the American League is dominating the National League in interleague play. The Junior Circuit is leading, 48-41, and that's equivalent to an 87-75 record over 162 games.
