The Baseball Writers Association of America now announces "finalists" for its rewards? Well, that makes sense, they show the top three vote-getters who now compete in a runoff...No. There is no runoff. The vote took place over a month ago. They're just letting us know who finished in the top three, before telling us who was No. 1 next week. What information does that give us, exactly?
